D'Anne’s Story

Site created on May 18, 2023

Spring of 2022 all this cancer craziness started. (Right after my dad passed away from cancer. ) Between Cologuard tests, colonoscopies, surgeries to remove tumors, a grand baby born, David's job being terminated, him leaving in January to move to Florida, me getting a house ready to sell and packing up all around a second cancer diagnosis it has been quite the year! I decided to create this so people who wanted to know what was going on could read it at will and those who don't want to know what's going on are not obligated to see it on my social media site. Some people are naturally more curious than others and this is a place they can go to satisfy that curiosity. Or ask questions. Or write stuff. 😁 So welcome to The Good, The Bad, and The Craziness

For those of you who may be interested.

A remembrance and a celebration of D'Anne's wonderful life will occur:

Sunday, May 12 - 4:00 p.m.
Regency Park Church of the Nazarene
8707 E. 51st St.
Tulsa, OK  74145
918.663.9717

(Yes.  We are aware that is Mother's Day.  Sorry about that.  Maybe that is why the church is available that day.  😏  But what a day to celebrate a special, incredible, wonderful person and mother.)

Cards, letters, expressions of love and appreciation will be welcomed by her family.

Flowers and plants will be left at the church to perish, so in lieu of these, please make contributions to the church if you feel so inclined.  Any donations received will be used to cover the cost of appetizers and snacks for everyone after the celebration service and to further the mission of the church - just as she would want it.  As you well know - D'Anne would love for us all to have a bit of a party.  😊

Thank you for your friendship, your love, your investment in our lives throughout the years.
