Journal entry by Tara Eyer

Gary here. Eva is home but she is having a hard time. She still has the lung infection and we are doing our best to keep Eva out of the hospital. She has a bad cough and she is coughing stuff up all day and night and her chest rattles every time she takes a breath. She has frequent panic attacks and cries easily from the trauma. There are so many followup appointments and we are trying to figure out what is necessary because it's all too much.

I'm back to work and Hope has school and cross country. Tara is taking care of Eva but has been in extreme pain. We don't know what the neuro muscular problem is but MS has been ruled out and she has many other problems with her tumors. People keep telling us we have to take care of ourselves but taking care of my three girls is taking care of myself. I know Tara feels the same way. We are all having a hard time and appreciate the prayers.
