Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family & friends updated in one place. My water broke too early, & baby Thea is in danger. You’ll see the most recent update first. On each day, you’ll find a “Just the Facts” section & a “Journal” section. I imagine most will want to quickly check the facts, so I’m completing those first to go ahead & share. I’ll fill in the journal as I can, which is mostly for me/us & those who want more details & also God stories. We appreciate your prayers, support, & words of hope and encouragement. 3 months

Journal entry by Kristy Washington —

On July 1st, Thea turned 3 months old (preemie age 6 weeks) & weighs NINE POUNDS & 2 oz!  She: is healthy, besides an occasional gooey eye; interacts more with us by eye contact & some smiles, plus vocalization; has slept a few 6-9-hour overnights; still has trouble breastfeeding but is working on it.  We are so grateful for this gift & continue to praise the Lord Jesus Christ for this miracle of life!  Thank y’all for prayers & support!
