Terry’s Story

March 5th 2023 Update: Our beloved wife, mother and friend, Terry, passed peacefully at home surrounded by family in the early morning hours of February 23rd, 2023. A celebration of life is planned for April 16th in Snohomish, WA at Lord Hill Farms. Please find additional details and RSVP at her EverLoved website below. Welcome to the CaringBridge website for Terry. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Terry has been diagnosed with Stage III (now stage IV—see 12/3 journal) pancreatic cancer (ductal pancreatic adenocarcinoma). She is under the care of Dr. Vincent Picozzi (viva italiano!) at Virginia Mason Seattle. This is a world class program that is providing the best care available.

We have been inundated with offers to help and we will certainly need it! We are using the Planner platform to schedule meals, trips and so forth. Volunteers do need to be cautious about exposing Terry to the coronavirus. Please refrain from volunteering if you are sick or not able to pass the typical screening questions. We will need drivers and visitors to wear a mask during trips and visits. Thank you in advance for your caring and compassion!

Doug is moving to Arizona! I have sold the Bellevue home and bought a new one in Sun City Grand, a Del Webb community in Surprise AZ. We are having a going away party Friday September 29 from 4-9 pm and hope that you can attend. Please RSVP so we know how much food and drink to have available.
