Well, after a valiant battle with aggressive lung cancer we find ourselves in hospice.  The shortness of breath was caused by cancer invading the surrounding area of the abdominal cavity expanding until the space for lung inflation was limited.  We knew from the start we were fighting a losing battle but tried to buy some more time together.  Maybe we did and maybe we didn't.  Four months from diagnosis.  Two months away from our 32nd anniversary.  Cancer sucks!  Family gathers, memories are shared of a life that slips away in the midst of us and the only thing we can do is be present and love each other.  
So, be present and love each other!!
Edit from Cris Miller, Terry's daughter- Dad passed over Tuesday, March 30 surrounded by Liz, Jess, Cris, and brother Guy.  He is now at peace.
