Here's Laramie's report from Tuesday. She is having a complication with one of her eyes, so she wasn't able to visit Terry on Friday.

Laramie writes:

Tuesday, April 23: I brought along my Nitro pad because I'd forgotten to bring Terry's pad along home with me last week and I was sure the charge would have run out. Checking that out, it was actually at 58%. Terry wasn't interested in playing its maze game or the coloring app, though so I brought up Facebook on my Nitro pad. The problem with getting Facebook on her pad is that they say they will confirm our identity by sending a OTP (one time password) to my phone number, which has yet to come through. I'll probably have to talk to actual customer service person. There was some time before lunch so we looked at FB posts (saw a couple from Terry's brother!) and talking cat videos and moved to seating closer to the dining room. Once they admitted us to the dining room, there was a wait before Terry was served. I brought her some juice and her plate.

She ate most of her country-fried steak with gravy, mashed potatoes with butter and garden peas. We escaped before a pudding was served and she had an apple in the bistro while I fixed the coffee. We played a Facebook quiz requiring us to match authors to their books. Terry always agreed with my pick, so she was always right. We didn't get to the foreign authors. Before going back upstairs, we stopped at the front desk where Terry got a couple missives from LifeSpark (set aside for Jim) and a lovely post card from Linda L, showing a flower market. I read the text of it to Terry, and we went back to sit in the area near the nurse's offices. Terry had been sitting rather far forward in her chair, and I kept encouraging her to 'scooch back' but she was not very successful at that. We hung around there until it was time for me to go, entertaining ourselves with another FB quiz (can we pass the Harvard entrance exam?). I made sure the aides knew Terry was ready for a lie down.
