Newest Update

Journal entry by Garret Denne

Hello all! Sorry it has been so long since the last update, but finally have the chance to get on and post a quick update.

Things have been progressing well over the past few weeks. Terry has been doing physical therapy most days, and has regained some mobility. He is now able to transition from the bed to a recliner with minimal assistance. He was even able to get up and watch the Twins play from the relative comfort of his chair.
They have begun doing skin grafts to cover the wound, and so far things seem to be going well. He has another surgery tomorrow on the 16th to do another graft, and we are hopeful this will be the last major surgery for him. If the skin graft takes, he shouldn't have to spend much more time under the knife. Depending how the surgery goes will kind of dictate what happens in the coming weeks. With the positive progress he has made, we are being hopeful.

In related news, a fundraiser to help with medical bills has been organized by Ruth Denne. Attached will be the flyer with all the pertinent information. If you have questions feel free to leave a comment here, send me (Garret) an email at garrisondenne@gmail.com or reach out to me via Facebook.

Thank you again for the support, care, and love everyone has shown these weeks.
