Journal entry by Tom Batenhorst —
Today was another big day. Although we had preliminary results and talked to the doctor on the phone earlier about the biopsy results, we were able to talk in person at today's appointment. Biopsy results are good! I hope I state all this correctly. No MDS, No luekemia! 100% donor CD33 cells and 39% donor CD3 cells. The second number should keep going up since being taken off of Tacrolimus.
Terry had a PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) for a couple reasons. To check for any issues from her short bout with Covid and it helps check for Graft vs Host Disease. Results forthcoming.
She also had her central line removed today. See picture. She can wear a bra again! I know, TMI.
And to top it off, we don't need to go back for another month!
