Today marks two months since Mom’s heart attack. Her rapid recovery is a welcomed surprise, and she is growing stronger every day. She had her two month appointment this week and her cardiologist was so impressed with her improvements he said she didn’t need to come back to see him for a full year!
Mom is now driving, which will make her remaining eight weeks of cardiac rehab at Bronson Athletic Club much easier. She was thrilled to finally meet her first grandchild, Hannah, a few weeks ago, and she cheered on the Chicago Cubs with her friends from Danville High last week. Our family is looking forward to reuniting in South Haven for July 4 and creating new memories together for many years to come.
Words cannot express how grateful our family is for the blessings we’ve received and love and support shown by all of you through meals, rides, words of encouragement, and prayer. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
