Terri’s Story

Site created on August 10, 2022

Terri went to the ER after experiencing significant back pain on August 9th, 2022. While there they did a contrast CT and found multiple shadows including the liver, lungs, adrenal glands, and spine. She was diagnosed with cancer that had metastasized. This means surgery will not be an option because it has spread, including a nodule on her lungs, and adrenal gland.

We are keeping one foot in prayer and hope, and one in reality. We know that God can heal, but we are also very aware that she is sick.  In all of this so far, we have seen beautiful moments that are truly miraculous. We have spent moments as a family grieving, laughing, crying, and celebrating her life since the diagnosis, and Terri maintains that no matter what happens, she WILL go out laughing.

Hello family and friends -

Tomorrow we honor our mother in a Celebration of Life. This event will be rather informal with no official “ceremony”. We are mostly looking forward to seeing (and squeezing) all those who knew her and loved her.

This event will from 2pm-4pm at the ACTIVITIES CENTER at Bunkers Hills Regional Park: 550 Bunker Lake Blvd NW, Andover, MN 55304-4122, United States.

There will be coffee and treats provided.

Looking forward to seeing y’all!
