Saw oncologist #2 today. She didn't have any new input and agrees with the TPE surgery. She did do some blood work for tumor markers, etc. She was concerned that I requested the surgery not be scheduled any earlier than the end of February. But i have to plan for 4 weeks being out of commission. She mentioned the possibility of chemo and/or radiation dependent on the surgery pathology. Well, I'm certainly not willing to do either of those. But I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. I saw the reconstructive surgeon on Monday. I will be getting a CT angiography soon to determine the blood flow to the abdomen muscle that they want to use for reconstruction. Other than all of this process, I'm feeling great. I'm working long days to try to save some money for my month of not working and just enjoying every single minute of every single day of my life.
