Did I say God is good? He's better than good!!! Remission. That word is such a gift, and we heard it today from Dr. Pippas. The MRI was clear of any cancer in the bone or near it. That's after a prior PET scan that showed Teresa as cancer free. Dr. Pippas will do a CT scan in about 4 weeks to have another look at Teresa's spleen to gauge her recovery from the infarction, then later he'll have another PET scan done, one of the tests that we will be continuing for the next two years as we make sure that the cancer remains gone. The spleen infarction continues to be the source of a very serious amount of pain in both Teresa's left side and her neck, and it is most disheartening, but we are assured by Dr. Pippas that time should heal the problem. Meanwhile, the mouth sores have abated, Teresa's appetite is healthy, and she is getting stronger bit by bit. We are basking in the love of God and all of you, faithful and dear friends, who have been so supportive. We covet your continued prayers for Teresa's complete recovery and restoration of full health and vigor, and we love all of you.
