Teresa ’s Story

Site created on May 17, 2020

Teresa (Teri) George was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma on December 31, 2019. Multiple Myeloma is a rare blood cancer. The first leg of her journey began with a VRD regimen (Velcade, Revlimid, and Dexamethasone) to try and eradicate the cancer. This treatment was as successful as they hoped and the next step is to now start the process of stem cell replacement. She will be traveling to KU Medical Center on May 28,2020 to embark on this next step. KU is one of the premier hospitals in the country to treat Multiple Myeloma patients.

We started this page to keep friends and family updated on her progress and journey. Her family will post updates regularly in hopes of keeping calls and texts to her and Greg’s phone to a minimum.

Teresa and family appreciates all prayers, support, and positive thoughts during this time. We invite you to comment encouragement on this page as she will see all of your posts. Thank you all for embarking on this journey with Teresa.
