I'm Ted's brother Eric. I was devastated when I got the call from Jill telling me that Ted was being medivaced to Mayo Clinic for emergency open heart surgery and that he could die. I caught the first plane I could and arrived in Minnesota in the middle of the night. It seemed like the longest flight I ever took because I didn't know whether or not Ted made it through surgery until I got off the plane and learned that he his surgery was successful. He made it, but the heart dissection and the operation to fix it really took a toll on Ted. The recovery will take time and a ton of work. I'm so glad that he's so strong-willed and dedicated to getting back to 100%.

I love you, brother.  It's a good thing you're so stubborn.
