Journal entry by Cindy Kuta —
It’s been a long time since we posted. The last time we had received some bad and unwanted news. The doctors from Loyola wants to insert a Tracheotomy in George to get a biopsy. We reached out to George’s cousin Christopher. Christopher jumped in and contacted some friends for a referral at University of Chicago. After talking to the UOC doctors, we still did not like what they were suggesting. After having another meeting with our Oncologist we decided to what the 12 weeks after our last treatment and do the Petscan and see where the facts fall.
But, today is Postive Monday and we have received VERY postive news. Last week Thursday, George had a Petscan. Today we received the news. The petscan is clear, no signs of cancer. But, George will be doing speech therapy to get his mouth moving. He still is dreaming of the largest Cheeseburger that he can find.
A big Thank you to Christopher for his help and All the Family and Friends that have prayed, sent positive vibes, and called to check on us. It has really meant a lot to us.
