The cancer bump on my scalp is now GONE! GONZO! BYE BYE! I had my outpatient surgery yesterday in Brighton, and everything went well, was quick, and at times comical- many thanks to the U of M med team. Also, thanks to my mom, dad, and Madison for helping out as Dhruv was in Boston for work this week. It was a simple, outpatient surgery so I assured him to not cancel his trip. Of course, he checked in many times. ❤️
Next steps are waiting on the pathology results of the cancer lump, and meeting with my oncologist, Dr. Burness, next week to discuss the chemo plan & start it as soon as next week. Most likely a pill form of chemo.
