As you all know on the evening of February 21, 2018, Brian was struck by a vehicle while walking home. Brian continues to be in stable condition and is still unconscious.

On March 3rd he was transferred to an acute care facility to further his rehabilitation and care.

As of today, Brian was very active this morning. There was a lot of tapping, snapping, and pulling of his hospital gown. His white blood cell count has gone down but still needs to go down more before they can get him his feeding tube. There is a noticeable reduction in the swelling in his right arm and the doctor believes it's about the positioning in bed. He is definitely responding to being stimulated, but the doctor is wanting to see more on command movements from Brian, but he is still very happy with the progress. 

The goal is to get Brian into an upright position in a chair for at least two hours a day via physical therapy. Yesterday he was able to tolerate the full two hours in the chair, this is great!
