Chris’s Story

Site created on November 15, 2022

Hello family and friends

On November 4 Chris was  taken to the doctor as he was super sick with fever but it was not classic flu symptoms.
The doctor said he had upper GI bleeding and sent him to the ER.
The necessary GI procedures were done but still could not find the source of the bleeding  so an MRI was done
The results were that he had 3 tumors, it was advanced stages of hepato-cellular carcinoma liver cancer or HCC.
The tumors are 3.9 to 4.7 cm, they a big but not too big for our God
He was also diagnosed with cirrosis and Hepatitis C
This is a lot for The Reese family to take in but again not for our God!!!!

I received this from Chris today

I just want to take the time to thank each and every person who has prayed for me and my family, and specifically the issue that I have now with liver cancer.
My wife and I are overwhelmed with the outpouring of affection through prayers and financially. When we truly stop and see the blessings from God, it takes us to a place where we realize pieces.
Throughout the day. We are so busy with what we think it’s important that we run right past our opportunities to sit and just see God at work in our lives.
I pray to this event that God clears a better path for us to see him in his glory and his strength and through his promises.
God will never fail us. God will never leave us, and God will never forsake us. That we know to be true. We are just so blessed to have friends like you guys to walk through this with us. Thank you.
