My mom is now back with her dad, younger brother, mother and father in law, sister in law and other very close family and friends in heaven. 💔
Yesterday, my mom spent her last day surrounded by her family. It was a beautiful day that was full of laughs, cries, rum cake, hugs, and love. Once everyone left the house, she was able to have time with my dad, Corey, Ryan, myself, Jeremy, and the pups. She then passed comfortably in her sleep.
My mom was a fighter and wanted to continue to fight until the very end. It breaks mine and my families heart and it is just so unreal right now. She spent the last two months snuggling with her grand fur babies who also very much miss her presence.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for following my mom’s journey and cheering her on just as hard as she held on. We will let you all know about visitation and funeral arrangements once those are made.
In the meantime, watch Bridesmaides, Baby Mama, Miss Congeniality, or White Chicks with a brandy slush (and sneak in some chocolate). Don’t be afraid to let out a little snort when you laugh🥲
