Update: No PET results. Sounds like it may be a few days.
Just met with Carson (Oncology NP) for chemo toxicity check/follow-up after getting some additional labs drawn. Carson said she’s happy with how Jamie is tolerating chemo so far and that side effects *usually* do not compound with each treatment. In very rare cases the second round of chemo will result in completely different side effects. (🤞it doesn’t)
Re labs: her platelets are low, but that’s to be expected. They started low in the 90’s from chemo pill & are hanging out in the 50’s as of today. They will only give her playlets if numbers are in the 20’s.
Right now she’s enjoying a liquid lunch (IV fluids bc she’s been having a difficult time eating due to esophagitis from the radiation). Her doctor also called in some Magic Mouthwash! We should be outta here in about an hour.
