Carol’s Story

Site created on June 19, 2020

Carol Bauer,  2014 survivor of Leiomyosarcoma, was found to have a cantaloupe sized tumor in her abdomen in June 2020. Carol is a real tough cookie and we know she’s going to get through this rocky patch in her health. We are using this website to keep all of her loved ones updated on her road to recovery.  This site is managed by her family but Carol reads the comments! Please leave her lots of messages!

Some kind folks have been asking if there is any particular charity they can make a donation to in honor of Carol. That is so thoughtful. David, Adam, and myself know we were blessed to have a mom like her, so would love your support to go to Nurses for Newborns. They are a local organization that provides a safety net for families most at-risk in order to prevent infant mortality, child abuse, and neglect by providing in-home nursing visits which promote healthcare, education, and positive parents skills. ❤️ Thank you.
