Yesterdays update from Steve regarding Tawnnya’s current state:   Please read and share her story
she has come so far and has much further to go.   Thank you for your continued prayers and support and generosity.

from Steve,

I would like to give all of you and update on Tawnnya’s journey.  I apologize for the delay but our life has been turned upside down over the past 2 months.   With the help,of family and friends , I was able to move Koko and myself out of our home in Denver to an apartment close to the Reagan  UCLA  Hospital in Los Angeles. While it was always the long range plan to move our little family this one was quite sudden and abrupt and expensive.   We are blessed to now be closer to Tawnnya

Tawnnyas progress has been bumpy   From Previous  posting you are aware of the brain surgery and removal of 1/3 of her skull.( All right after 3 weeks of extensive testing for the transplant.  She just received the “Go ahead”)  There has continued to be swelling and fluid drainage.  Thus causing her  extreme fatigue and more than a bit of confusion ( some of you have had mysterious texts,😂😂)). The surgeons performed a procedure earlier this week to place 3 tubes in her head to assist in fluid drainage.  It appears to be working.
the fluids are draining and she is showing signs of full mental recovery. She seems very “with it” and has good energy.    Next step is the cranioplasty where they replace the large section of skull removed and then it is recovery from that and then on to a Cardio Rehab center where they will Huk Ike her strength back for the Heart Transplant

please keep your prayers coming.  They are crucial to her surviving these continued ordeals
