As many of you are aware, Tara received more than 90 units of Blood after experiencing an Amniotic Fluid Embolism and cardiac arrest during the birth of her third child. In her own words… “Before experiencing this life-changing event, I’m ashamed to admit I never fully recognized the incredible importance of being a blood donor and I now plan to be a routine donor for life. I hope to inspire many others to regularly donate blood as it saves so many people of all ages who suffer from various emergencies, ailments or injuries."
