Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9

Mom posted this to Facebook on Friday morning after being admitted to the hospital. This is our fight verse for her.

Journal entry by stacie virden

Well, we didn’t get the miracle for which we’d all hoped and prayed.  We lost mom yesterday afternoon.   She went peacefully, though, and Dad, PK, Ryan and I were able to spend her last day by her side.  We are truly grateful for the palliative care team that made that happen.    Hug your loved ones extra tight, everyone, and thank you all for your thoughts and prayers over the past 7 weeks.
