Journal entry by Tricia Parrish

I think we might be getting out of here soon. Dad went hard this morning in rounds and got us switched to pulmonary. I think the PICU doctor was an idiot honestly. We broke all her rules and Sutton is better for it. He told them we will be discharged Friday lol

Sutton spent a good bit of the day off of her bipap and just on a nasal cannula with oxygen (something we can do at home). All her medications are oral now. There is nothing keeping us here. She even spent a few minutes without ANY aid during treatments and never let her 02 Sat drop below 92!!! This is excellent considering where we have been.

Hoping that it all comes together by the end of the week. Santa apparently brought some toys ! This place truly is amazing. Probably $500 worth of toys to a single, sick child. God is good, all the time.
