Susan's obituary was in the Calgary Herald today and will be in the Whitehorse Star tomorrow.  You can view the Calgary Herald one online at: https://calgaryherald.remembering.ca/obituary/susan-rae-1088687118   (The Whitehorse Star obituary will also be online but not until tomorrow).

 

The Celebration of Life Service will be held at Whitehorse United Church on August 22 at 2pm PST.  It will be live streamed on the Whitehorse United Church Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100067509608648

 

If you are not able to view it live, it will remain on the Facebook page for viewing at a later time.

 

She has requested that anyone attending the funeral wear bright colours. If you wish to join in the celebration of her life from the comfort of your home, please feel free to wear bright colours to remember her with us,

 

We have been missing her terribly during this past month, when she should have been in Calgary with us. We have so much to tell her and it seems so strange that we can't. We know that she knows and is with us in spirit, but it's not the same.

 

There won't be many updates going forward but I will post when we host a smaller celebration in Calgary and inter her ashes in Calgary (half will remain in Whitehorse, and half will come to Calgary).
