Can you believe it's been 44 days since this whole thing started? Well, 44 days later, I've got the news we've all been waiting for:

SUSAN IS GOING HOME!!!!! 😁 

She has been in a rehabilitation center for the last few days working on regaining some of her strength. After being bed ridden for so long, she lost a lot of muscle mass that she had to gain back before they could release her. 

Overall her health is good. Her heart is beating. Her liver is functioning. And her kidneys have started to wake up. She does have to do outpatient dialysis 3 days/week for at least a little while. But the good news is, that out of the whole panel of doctors who saw her, only one thought she should continue. So hopefully it won't be too long before she doesn't need it anymore. 

Even though our days of ER visits have slowed, there will certainly be a long recovery process and a new normal for Susan, for Josh and for the girls. Your prayers and continued support through this entire journey have been appreciated more than you'll ever know. Josh and Susan (and by extension - we) have the best friends and family in the world, and we couldn't be more blessed to have you all in our lives. 

As always, keep praying. It's obvious they work. And they're still needed, day in and day out. 🙏
