Susan’s Story

Site created on March 27, 2018

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Mom recently had some coughing spells so they visited the doctor and was diagnosed with pneumonia in early March. After a couple of weeks of treatment, the coughing did not go away so mom & dad visited the doctor again. She had a CT scan on March 21 which showed several suspicious spots in her lungs and also in a kidney. A biopsy was performed on her lung tissue on March 26. We hope to hear the results of the biopsy in the next couple of days. The doctor has told us it is cancer and is "very serious". We hope to know more in the next few days and will report back when we hear anything.  Thank you for visiting.
