Sybil’s Story

This site to support our friend Sybil, who has been diagnosed with breast cancer. In short, Sybil will have surgery on August 24, followed by treatment. Sybil has been there for all of us over the years, and now we have the opportunity to pitch in and give back some love, encouragement, and practical help to her and her family!  

In addition to linking to Meal Train to coordinate meals, this platform will be used for general updates, a message board, and will offer other non-meal ideas for ways to lend uplifting support. You can 'Follow' this "Support Sybil Schooler" page to keep an eye out for opportunities and updates, and there is also an easy to use, free CaringBridge App.
We are using this site  to keep family and friends updated in one place, your support and words of hope and encouragement are appreciated. Thank you for visiting, please follow and share!

Hello Friends,

Thank you so much for all the food and well wishes. I feel so blessed to have so much support around me! I am doing well. I am currently waiting on a follow-up appointment with Dr. Chin the plastic surgeon. I still have my drains but hopeful they will be removed soon. My mom is here providing lots of care and assistance. I take daily walks outside and enjoy showering every day. Thanks again! Much love - Sybil
