Sue’s Story

Site created on December 16, 2022

On December 12th, 2022, my mom, Sue, a.k.a. "SueHa" suffered a sudden brain hemorrhage, a type of stroke.
We are using this CaringBridge site to keep family and friends updated in one place.

Journal entry by Kayla Berry

Because her physical abilities are so strong, the acute rehab facility cannot justify her inpatient stay much longer. That said, she cannot be alone at this juncture - if for no other reason than her inability to dial 911 in case of an emergency. Therefore, Mom will be coming to stay with us as of Tuesday morning. She will continue doing Rehab Therapy via outpatient services. I look forward to the opportunity to spend more quality time with my mom and my children as well. Part of her recovery that we can help with is spending time playing games and cooking or baking together. Love & Light my friends! 🌈🙏💟
