Journal entry by Sue Joiner —
I finished radiation today! It is hard to believe that there are no more treatments at this point. I realized last night that this started nine months ago with a mammogram, ultrasound, and biopsy. I wonder what will be birthed as a result of cancer. I look forward to some time to reflect on that.
More than anything I want to express my deepest gratitude to Anne Marie who was there every step of the way and for all of you who so lovingly walked with me. The staff made this process as humane as it can possibly be. I feel very fortunate to be where I am now. Life is so very precious. I am thankful to share it with you.
