Journal entry by Lisa Fox

Sorry for leaving you all in the lurch after June 24.  Sue is fine!

Lisa's brain was on stress vacation and the tablet I was using "forgot" my password to this site.  I didn't forget it, the computer made me do it.

Anyway,  Sue has made an amazing recovery.  Her spirit is strong, her balance improves day by day, the family is home and things are returning to the new normal.  Martin was a champ that held it all together.

While in La Jolla, the weather did not rise to the expectations of always a balmy 75.  They didn't tell us about gray May and June gloom until we started commenting about the cool winds and the "short" showers.  We did go to the amazing San Diego zoo.  Showers lasted all day, the animals all stayed inside because of the rain.  We bought cheap plastic ponchos and saw as much as we could.  There was a new giraffe born there that day but the crowd was too intense by the fence for us to see anything.

But our main purpose of going to California was achieved.  All is well at the Alonso Fox household and that is a very good thing.

So until another hiccup occurs, signing off of this chapter. Thank you for all your love and prayers.  You helped us through.   Lisa
