Newest Update

Journal entry by Sue Andree

It’s been awhile since I’ve updated anything on here mainly because things had slowed enough where mom could personally update you all herself. We’ve had another slight bump in her road so she just wanted me to continue to update everyone this way. She’s had a low temp this last week. We’ve been in constant contact with her Chicago team. Yesterday I noticed a small hole while doing her wound change. When she would laugh or cough a small opening could be seen from her chest wall which means that something didn’t close all the way leaving an open pathway of infection. After careful consideration and discussion between our family and the surgeon she has decided to travel to Mayo for another opinion. My dad took her around 1 so they should be there around 8. I will continue to update on here and as always keep those prayers coming.
