It is a good morning!!!  After a little bit of a rough weekend, we have some awesome news to share!

Let me start with this past weekend . . . on Saturday, Jenny was in severe pain and could not keep anything down.  She was taken to Upper Chesapeake where they diagnosed her with an intestinal blockage (unfortunately, not uncommon after GI related surgery).   They were able to get her pain under control and give her some meds to stop her vomiting.  The doctors at Upper Chesapeake communicated with Dr. Sardi at Mercy and he wanted to have her under his care for observation.  So, Jenny was transported back to Mercy on Sunday.  She was treated with IV fluids and she is back on a clear liquid diet to giver her bowels a chance to rest.  She is being discharged from Mercy later today and is super excited to be coming home!

Now for the good news . . . First, while Jenny was at Mercy, Dr. Sardi was able to take all of her staples out!   Second (and best of all), Jenny received her pathology and her lymph nodes are clear so she will NOT NEED ANY FURTHER CHEMO!!!!!!!!!!!
