Stephanie’s Story

Site created on June 10, 2023

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

We are saddened to meet you all here but very appreciative you are here with us. On Tuesday a mass was found in the left side of Stephanie's brain. After a biopsy on Friday we were told the early prognosis is an aggressive Glioma tumor. It is a high grade tumor that may require full resection. After resection, which we believe will be done this coming week, Stephanie will then undergo six to eight weeks of chemotherapy and radiation. We are still waiting for the full results from pathology which will give us more definitive information and treatment plan, which we will continue to share as we move forward.

We can not thank each and every one of you enough for all the prayers and love you are sending our way. Please continue praying as we navigate through this new unknown.   - Stephanie, Jeff and Anna Grace

Journal entry by Kathleen Waddill

Let me tell y’all about our girl… she is a rockstar and a warrior!! She was up yesterday, talking and eating and doing amazingly well. She said she was tired of sitting around there doing nothing and our girl meant she was ready to get up and go, can’t hold her down! She got up this morning and walked some laps and she was able to be discharged home today!! She is at home now and resting in her own bed! God is so good!! Thank you to everyone for all the love and prayers! Stephanie is so thankful and blessed beyond words to have the most amazing family and friends and support system!! Keep those prayers coming! We will keep you posted on her progress. 🙏🏼♥️
