With Stan's birthday upcoming on Tuesday (1/11) his San Diego friends and loved ones surprised him with a quarantine-style parade of cars. People decorated their vehicles with paint, balloons, homemade signs, and cards.
Everyone met before at a nearby park at Noon and then the parade was led by the Harpin's who helped organize this super special event (thank you Jennifer💗). Neighbors even joined in for the fun and camped out in their yards with mimosas. Jessica did an incredible job of spreading the word and keeping it a surprise. She led Stan out at 12:15 to the parade once everyone arrived. He was completely surprised!!!
There was lots of honking, cheers, laughs, tears of joy, and SO much love. It was truly soul-warming (best said by Megan) to see everyone come together to celebrate Stan.
We love you so much, Stan. Happy early birthday. Here's to starting this next year around the sun with all of us standing by your side.
