Newest Update

Journal entry by stacey rostek

Hey everyone! I just wanted to share that I just finished my LAST chemo!! Woohoo! I did 12 cycles (about a year) and I was so so ready to be done. I know I updated about 4 months ago, and since then, everything has still gone smoothly. The MRIs have all been stable, no new or worsening symptoms. It’s been such a miracle how well my body has handled everything it was dealt. No swelling in the brain causing issues, no necrosis (dead brain tissue from radiation) causing issues, just the one initial seizure, my platelets always stayed fairly high, they didn’t have to reduce or stop my chemo at all. I couldn’t have asked for a smoother cancer treatment. Now I just need to go in every so often to get an MRI.

Please continue to pray that there are no recurrences. That’s the one thing about these tumors, most of the time they end up coming back in the next couple of years. And most of the time when they DO come back, they come back more aggressive. Please pray that God completely heal all the cancer within me. Thank you for your continued prayers throughout all of this. ❤️

Again... if anything changes, I will let you know!
