This morning Graham and I rode with Jen to MD Anderson so I could get to my appointment. I got my labs and then got some coffee and a little breakfast. We ended up checking in for my Dr appointment an hour early and got called back pretty soon after getting there 🥼
Unfortunately my CEA (tumor marker) is still on the rise. I’m still starting phase 2 as the true way to know if it’s working or not is stability or shrinkage of tumors seen on scan. My next scan is scheduled the day after Memorial Day. 🩻
They did offer to move it up one week but that is the day before Grahams 5th grade program and the end of school so Jesse and I didn’t really feel like one week was a make or break. So with all that being said, I am asking for all the prayers for the next three weeks for this trial to stop the cancer spread. I definitely felt the disappointment when I saw the numbers going up but I just don’t think I can do the chemotherapy route again. I will need some major convincing. So I welcome all the prayers. 🙏🏻
All day yesterday, Graham was looking for a Houston shirt to get at gift shops in the museum and at the mall and then he saw a soccer jersey with MD Anderson on it. He loved it and immediately wanted it. Turns out MD Anderson sponsors the team and they have a game tonight so we are going before flying home tomorrow! ⚽️
Thanks for all the prayers as always 🥊 #fighthard
Graham made this leaf for the “HOPE” tree they had at the CCTT while I was in my doctor appointment. Definitely the encouragement I needed ❤️
