Its been a week of follow-ups! The ID "Infectious Disease" doctor reported all cultures are negative. That means infection "free" and the end date for his IV med treatment is on the calendar. Orthopedic specialists say screws are in place and Dad's reward..... he can be without his brace for 30 minutes a day to shower and dress. He will be able to put back on his special tshirt Madey made sure he still has in his wardrobe.
