Sophie’s Story

On Tuesday evening, August 31st, Kevin and Melissa cheered on the Royals at the K with daughters Sophie (23) and Catie (16). Hours after the photo posted here was taken, Sophie suffered an AVM-aneurism type brain bleed and clot. She was rushed to the hospital, leaving everyone swirling with a million questions and staggering fears.

Sophie underwent immediate surgery lasting several hours. Her chances of survival through surgery were low, but the Lord’s hand was evident. Sophie made it through surgery with flying colors as the doctors expressed that it went better than expected. Praise God!
