Hi there, Happy St. Patrick’s day! I wanted to give an update on Sophia’s recovery/progress being today marks 6 months out of transplant. She is doing really well ! An analysis of her bone marrow, 2 weeks ago, showed No leukemia and No Philadelphia chromosomes. All her cells are 100% donor, which is what the doctors wanted to see. She started a chemotherapy yesterday which specifically targets the Philadelphia chromosome in case there are some “hiding” , as the doctors say. Little by little she’s checking off all the important boxes concerning her blood cells and immune system. There’s a long way to go but overall we are so happy with her progress. Anyhow, I just wanted to say thanks again for all the support and prayers for Sophia. Be well and I will check in periodically with updates. Bye for now......
