Just a quick update to share about Sonny’s 3 month checkup  - he recently had his chest X-ray and bloodwork which showed no signs of lymphoma (yay!) and an ECG to make sure his heart is healthy from the chemotherapy he was on, and everything was clear and normal! I took Sonny to his appointment during a school day and we were surprised with his bell ringing celebration, a tradition to mark the completion of cancer treatment. Unfortunately Craig and Mia weren’t there with us but I took a video for them and here is a picture of him ringing the bell. He will continue to have x-rays and bloodwork every 3 months for at least a year as well as the integrative treatments we are doing to help him remain in remission. Sonny has been back in school since August and is enjoying a normal 8th grade year and getting to practice golf daily through Off Campus PE. He and Mia are at the same school this year which is nice for all of us - they can ride the bus together and I only have one school time to keep track of. You can see in the picture that his hair is growing back fast too which he was happy about. We could not be happier about his results and the way his journey has progressed. We are just waiting to hear back about final plans from Make-A-Wish so I will update once that has occurred.
