Andrew’s Story

Site created on July 11, 2022

On 7/10/22, Andrew was doing what he loved, and riding his motorcycle. At approximately 7:05pm he was involved in a motorcycle accident.

He fractured his skull (massive open head wound), a blood clot, and moderate to severe swelling of the brain. He has also developed a slight fever and cough. He is on 100% ventilator but does override the vent when he gets worked up/agitated.

Sending love from the ICU ❤️❤️

Journal entry by Amanda Primus

Good evening Sindy Nation,

A few details regarding the burial at Fort Snelling this Thursday, July 28.

Please note I’m going to be blunt, and maybe come off bitchy but we are on a very STRICT and STRUCTURED timeline with Fort Snelling - DO NOT just show up to Fort Snelling, we will be having a specified lane and we won’t find that out till Thursday.

Meet at the Bloomington VFW, 311 W 84th Street, Bloomington, MN at 10:15 sharp!!

****Please access the VFW parking lot off of 84th street; you have to access 84th street off of Nicollet Ave and Not Lyndale!

We will depart the VFW at 10:50am sharp and will NOT wait for anyone. We need everyone in their vehicle ready to go in line at 10:40am. The Patriot Guard along with a Hennepin County Sheriff, Bloomington PD and several other escorts will escort us to Fort Snelling.

Fort Snelling wants us in line/our lane at 11:15am. Burial will take place at 11:30am - WE ONLY HAVE 15 minutes for the burial!! We can not dork or screw around. They are very behind on burials and run a tight ship on their time frames. They will not place Andrew into the ground while we are there. We will be notified of exactly where he is later in the day and I will communicate that to Sindy Nation as soon as I know.

** Also, those of you who are pallbearers (you know who you are) please make sure you are there by 10:15 and please find me for instructions!!!

Sending all my love ❤️❤️
