Hello everyone, so sorry for my lack of updates lately.

I just wanted to update everyone and let them know that Sherri is doing OK and while we thought she was going home today we had a little setback yesterday so she is not leaving the hospital just yet.  She gave the nurses a big scare because she had a pretty big drop in her blood pressure.  They are kept her to make sure they figure out what is going on with that before sending her home.

My 2 cents (I know you don't want it, but...)  I think it is a good thing they kept her for a couple of reasons.  She still has not been able to secure some of the medical equipment just yet including one of the most important pieces...a wheelchair ramp on her home.  She really needs that the most before going home.  I think that having one is best for her safety and pain level and I think she agrees.  She is just not able to do steps very well and the thought of someone pulling her up the stairs IN her wheelchair kind of scares her.  We are working on this and I hope we can get it done before she is discharged.

She is walking a little more each day and really gets worn out from her physical therapy which makes her sleepy.  She also seems to be in good spirits but was a little sad to be in the hospital and not with her family on Easter.  I will do another update when she is sent home.
