Thank you so much for all your prayers and thoughts. 

Please continue.  We met the Director of the Burn Center this afternoon. Werner was  not a candidate for ECMO. 

1.  The enemy revealed his tactics today. There are three bugs that are attacking Werner’s lungs.  The antibiotics that they are using are the right ones that killed the bugs on cultures they took from Werner. The antibiotics should have worked  but for some reason in Werner’s body they have a resistance to the antibiotics.  This means the bugs are still hard at work messing with Werner’s lungs. They are now giving the antibiotics through the ventilator by inhalation. This way the antibiotics go directly to the lungs.   Please pray that the bugs are destroyed and that his lungs are able to recover. 

 

2.  Werner’s numbers for his kidneys have improved with dialysis. Please continue to pray for complete recovery of his kidneys. 

 

3.  Beginning at 5:00pm tonight, we will know in the next 24 to 48 if this will work. 

 

I am praising God for the gift of Werner and hopeful there will be a good outcome. The family is together.  Please pray for all of the decisions that we will be making that we hear from the Lord the right decision.   Please ask God for a miracle and that His Will is done.
