Journal entry by Christina Thomson —
As most of you know, Mom was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer at the end of September. On October 4th she had her spleen removed along with a mass on her pancreatic tail. Cancer was found in these areas and in some of her lymph nodes. This past week she had a port inserted where she will receive chemotherapy every two weeks for six months. Other than itching and some pain at the insertion site, Mom is doing well. I am lucky enough to be able to be here for a few days along with my sister Jessica and niece Bella. Of course Bob is the biggest help and Maleki is her for here daily also. We are asking for prayers that she will tolerate the chemo well and it will be just what she needs.
