Hello Friends and Family,

It's been some time since the last update that brought exciting news. So lets dive right in and share whats new. This will be a short post as there hasn't been much that has changed for Shelly since the last update. 

Shelly was able to start the new drugs that she received as compassion through the company. She is tolerating them EXTREMELY well. She feels like her old self again and is able to go out and do many fun things with her friends and family. For which we are extremely grateful! Considering the last drug combo that she was on basically kept her at home most of the time. 

While Shelly was excited to get started with the new treatment regimen she discussed with her doctor that she was having some pain. Shelly didn't think she would be able to and see if the new chemo drugs would fix this pain. That darn leg that she had surgery on was giving her some grief as well as the spot in her spine. After talking to Dr. Grey about this pain she was sent back to the radiation oncologist that Shelly has seen throughout her previous treatments. They agreed that radiation to these areas to relieve some of the pain/discomfort that Shelly was having alongside the chemo was a good idea. This is also going smoothly for Shelly and she looks forward to the relief that it will likely bring.
