Journal entry by Terri Adams

Sheila’s procedure is done. She will be in recovery 1-2 hours, then discharged.
1) Her Dr says he was pleased with the amount of tissue he removed from her flap.. he doesn’t feel at this time that another surgery is needed.

2) he removed the bump on her tongue as he didn’t like the way it looked. However he said it does not look like invasive cancer she had before but the final pathology report will confirm that. It did look like dysplasia which can, sometimes, turn into cancer later. But he has removed it.

She may be sore for a bit though.
