A note from Sharon! Today I got to moms to pick her up for Kendall’s baseball game…yes, she made it to the ballpark! (Peep the picture attached). Mom had hand written this note that she wanted me to post on caring bridge. These are words from her…
Hi,
Just needed to pop in to say hi and thank you!!
February 2, the day after my birthday, was a day I will never forget. My whole world changed when I heard those three words “you have cancer “yes, my world has changed.
But, over the last three months, you have all given me and my family so much support, friendship, strength, love, and understanding. I have been more than overwhelmed with all the text, phone calls, flowers, lunch, date, cards, gifts, meals, hospital visits, and prayers. Thank you.
I don’t think you realize what your support means to me and my family. It has been amazing. You have helped us to stay strong and move forward. We have had our share of tough times but please know we appreciate everything.
I have been feeling really good. I have good days and bad days but more good than bad. Mainly nausea and fatigue. I’m doing physical therapy two times a week, trying to get stronger. I completed my second round of chemo and on June 4 my numbers were up. I will start another round of chemo on June 17 for seven days.
Keep moving forward.
Love to all,
Sharon
