Welcome to Shannon’s CaringBridge Site
Sign In to Show Your SupportWell, I’m a few hours late updating this but basically that’s because there isn’t really anything new to report.
Over the past two weeks the average high temperature is running >106 degrees and there is a wildfire near Reddish so the air is smoky. (Note: We are not in danger. EVERY summer there are numerous wildfires burning near Redding).
We are back into the weekly chemotherapy routine (just as Shannon’s returning hair was about to make the leap to ‘peach fuzz’ stage).
Heidi gave Shannon a fuzz-buzz to even everything out.
For now, the plan is to eat, exercise, rest, stay out of the heat and smoke and avoid sick people.
Her chemotherapy will continue until the end of August.
I’ll give the next update at the beginning of August.
Best wishes,
-Robin
